If you have a server with a graphical terminal attached, you may also want to have your console output go to a dumb terminal (e.g. so it can be used with a terminal server). This can be done as follows:

 1. Copy /usr/dt/config/Xservers to /etc/dt/config/Xservers
 2. Change the last line in Xservers to:
    0 Local local_uid@none root /usr/openwin/bin/Xsun :0
 3. Change the eprom settingseeprom "output-device=ttya" and eeprom "input-
    device=ttya"
 4. Change /etc/inittab for console from -T sun to -T vt100 (or as
    appropriate)
