It is difficult task to map a LDEV to a hostgroup using the GUI. However, it can be done from the CLI as follows

Firstly you will need to find the objectid of the LDEV, e.g.

 hdvmcli getstoragearray subtarget=LDEV model=XP24000 serialnum=12345 devnum=00:12:09

Amongst the output will be the LDEV objectid

 An instance of LDEV
objectID=LLUEJId1L+c7CjbZd7Mfr
devNum=4,617
displayName=00:12:09
emulation=OPEN-V
cylinders=0
isComposite=0
sizeInKB=1,048,576,000
lba=2,097,152,000
raidType=-
substance=0
volumeType=-1
slotSizeInKB=256
chassis=16,485
arrayGroup=20
arrayGroupName=X21-1
path=true
onDemandDevice=false
devType=
isStandardLDEV=false
guardMode=
diskType=-1
slprNumber=0
clprNumber=0
cacheResidencyMode=0
stripeSizeInKB=-1
volumeKind=3
status=Normal
thpType=0
consumedSizeInKB=994,344,960
mfTrueCopyVolumeType=Simplex
mfShadowImageVolumeType=Simplex
mfUniversalReplicatorVolumeType=Simplex
mfUniversalReplicatorPoolID=-1
thpPoolID=13
threshold=5
systemDisk=0
encrypted=0

Now use this in the following command

 hdvmcli getstoragearray subtarget=LogicalUnit model=XP24000 serialnum=12345 lufilter=all
 lufilterchildid=LLUEJId1L+c7CjbZd7Mfr lusubinfo=Path pathsubinfo=wwn,hostinfo

The output will display the required information:
